ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT

ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT-Dead Serious demo (self released) 1985
First (and only, I believe) demo by these bay area thrashers. They went on to release a GREAT record on pusmort called “American Paranoia”. Even more metal and rock crept into their sound (for the worse) and they ended up changing some members and shortend the name to just “ATTITUDE”. Around 1990, they changed members and the name again, this time calling themselves “TWO-BIT THIEF”. Although Eric Brecht (orig. DRI drummer) played the skins in this line-up, they ended up being mediocre metal. With each incarnation of the band, they got further away from the blazing thrash that made em’ a household name (at least in my house). If you like this demo, definitely check out the LP. great stuff this is!
i think this demo is the best thing they’ve recorded
what about that “condemned attitude”?
is that some kind of side-project or what?

There has even been Condemned Attitude too, with Keith of C2D, that where much more in the hardcore vein.
Otherwise killer band, used to thrash alot along the music of their great lp on pusmort.

this demo and then American Paranoia would be their best bodies of work after any of these two releases there was nothing worth the vinyl it was pressed on. This is why i love demo tapes, you usally get the groups best work at its rawest, the way its meant to be heard.

What a great thrash tape. I live just down the road, was 15 when this came out. I love it and am burning it for my buddy right now.

Good stuff, I liked this band, so hearing this demo is cool. 9 to 5 Religion is my favourite track. Didn’t they later change their name to Attitude?

They definately have more “attitude” ,so to speak, than Two-Bit Thief did. Great demo.

This demo is totally combzone. I’m going to add it to my sick, rippin, bitchin’, sexy, tubular, radical, fragrant, boistrous, flourescent demo hoverboard video soundtrack.
p.s. Back To The Future Biatchez!!!!!!!!!!

I have the original demo tape (which sounds a bit better than these rips) - let me know if you need the cover artwork!

Glad to have this demo [again somehow]. Unfortunately, “In the Center” is posted 2x thus skipping track #9. Does anyone have an mp3 of that track to replace the duplicate of “in the center”? Thanks a bunch!!

Fuck Two-Bit Thief! That was an anomaly. I would like to think it didn’t happen, but it did. We had a few good songs, maybe??
Kristallnacht and Grey World won’t open for me. Anyone else have that problem.
Trivia Question: What is Kristallnacht?

I believe the missing track (D.S.F.A.) is available at the link: http://west-wind.com/music/attitude%20Adjustment/
Look for the D.S.F.A. demo mp3; the LP cut is there, too.
